Nate Galoni - Linebackers Coach


Nathan returns for his fourth year with the Gryphons as a Linebackers Coach. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2000, and went on to attend the University of Windsor to complete his Bachelor of Education. He started his teaching career in 2001 at St. Thomas Acquinas in Oakville, later moved to Notre Dame Secondary where he taught Physical and Health Education for five years.

Currently, Nathan teaches Physical Education at Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary in Burlington. As Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Notre Dame he led the Irish to four Halton Championship games in five year. At Corpus Christi, as Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator he helped lead the team to four Halton finals in five years. He has also coached for the Burlington Stampeder summer rep program at the Junior Varsity and Varsity level for over 10 years. Nathan has also had opportunities to coach outside of Halton. Coaching the GHR Linebackers in the ACG All-Star Bowl game, and coaching the Team Ontario Linebackers against Team USA in the International Bowl in Arlington, Texas in 2014. He has also served as a clinician in various roles including a Linebacker technique and fundamental presentation at the 2012 CFC Coaching clinic in Burlington.

Nathan currently lives in Burlington with his wife Sarah and daughter Kyall.
